Since my last blog many events have
occurred, regarding and related to Fine Arts 406.
I will try to catch you up on every
creative moment, artsy accomplishment and moving event.
To start fall has come and gone. During
fall here in Prince George I was able to take in the brisk weather with some
very special children in my life. On our nature walk we were able to take in
all the leaves changing colour. I enjoy
this part of the seasonal change. And the many ways the fall season can be used for the changing
leaves and artful expression and activities.
One activity that I found, on Pintrest, and thought was a
really neat idea was to this tree.
The hands and feet are cut-outs from everyone in their family and the hands have activities that they
wanted to complete before the snow came, sort of like a fall bucket list. One of the activities on my family’s bucket
list was to play in the beautifully coloured leaves.
It really too bad I can't put all of the pictures on here, cause when you click through them quickly you can see their smiles take over their faces and the leaves being tossed in the air and then fall as if it were a motion picture.
Wow, that is a great project! Not only is it hands-on, it is personal, meaningful and a representation of everyone involved. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI also love the link to your personal life and the fun pictures. Glad you took the time to do that and make those memories with your loved ones. This process can be so overwhelming that sometimes you forget the truly important things. I made sure to go out and build a snow fort with my girl last weekend. We had a blast and drank hot chocolate afterwards. Nothing compares to those precious moments.
